Russia is concerned about the withdrawal of foreign troops and the strengthening of ISIS in Afghanistan | infodesk4n

MOSCOW: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that ISIS fighters are reorganizing and strengthening in northern Afghanistan.

According to the International News Agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed concern about the withdrawal of US and NATO forces from Afghanistan and said that ISIS fighters are reorganizing, which Russia has reservations about.

Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov harshly criticized the decision to withdraw foreign troops, saying it was unwise to withdraw from Afghanistan without a full restoration of peace and the uprooting of the militants.

The United States has announced that it will complete the withdrawal of all foreign troops from Afghanistan by 11 September this year and today the largest US airbase of Bagram in Afghanistan was evacuated and handed over to the government.

It should be noted that the Taliban have established their dominance in Afghanistan by advancing in many areas, while the Afghan army claims to have forced the Taliban to withdraw from many cities.
