The incident took place in a small town 30 miles from Concord, where an unidentified male customer arrived at the Stable in Bar & Grill on June 12. He ordered two hot dogs, ordered french fries and drank cocktails. But along the way, he also tipped $ 16,000, which is probably the largest tip in the restaurant's history.
"We don't know the customer and he was a mysterious man," Michelle McCuden, a bar attendant at the restaurant, told reporters. “I've been working in hotels for a long time, but I've never seen an accident like this.
On the other hand, restaurant owner Mike Zarila said at first I thought I misread the receipt, then I thought it might be a typo. But then the customer told all the staff that this is no joke and a gift from all of them. Before the restaurant closed that evening, all the money was distributed equally among the employees. At that time there were 8 people serving the food at the table but this quantity was also delivered to the cooks in the kitchen as well.
All employees are delighted to receive this important gift, as more than 100,000 restaurants in the United States closed last year due to the outbreak. Yet the employees are pleased with this generous advice that humanity is still alive.
