Austin / Paris: Jeff Bezos, the world's richest man and owner of several major companies, including Amazon, was asked to buy and eat Leonardo da Vinci's famous painting 'Mona Lisa' in a popular online petition at social networks.
Ken Powell, a social media user, submitted this unique petition on a website called Change.org almost a year ago.
The petition reads: "Nobody ate the Mona Lisa and we think Jeff Bezos should have."
In recent months, the online petition has not received much attention, but in the last few days, thousands of people have signed up and continued.
According to Change.org, when the petition has a target of 7,500 signatures, "decision makers" are likely to respond.
To date, more than 6,700 people have signed the petition and the number is growing rapidly. In other words, the target of 7,500 signatures can be reached in one or two days.
Other social media users wonder why Jeff Bezos has to buy a photo of Mona Lisa and then eat it.
No one has an answer to this question, but speculation is strong.
The Mona Lisa smile is a metaphor for a beautiful smile in today's world, and this beautiful painting of an unknown woman is considered the greatest masterpiece of the famous European artist Leonardo Downsy.
The painting is owned by the French government and is housed in the famous Louvre Art Gallery. However, the Mona Lisa is not "for sale" at all. The French government has no intention of auctioning it either.
Yet one still owns more than the average person, and some say that if the Mona Lisa painting were ever to be auctioned, it would be worth at least 60 billion.
The average person has managed such an expensive picture purchase, but Jeff Bezos deserves it as he is the richest man in the world with a personal wealth of around £ 180 billion.
However, one's property is still beyond the ordinary. But why is there a demand in this petition to buy a painting and eat it? Nobody knows why.
Surprisingly, social media users are signing this petition without being prevented from asking for anything.
Well, the behavior of social media users is strange but unexpected.
